The Company reinforced its commitment to transparency and biodiversity conservation by becoming a TNFD Adopter. By incorporating the framework’s recommendations, Klabin can enhance risk management and provide greater visibility into financial opportunities related to biodiversity, land use, water use and climate change.

Klabin reduced its specific water consumption by 41.13% compared with the 2018 baseline, exceeding its 2030 target ahead of schedule. This performance reflects stronger water management practices across its industrial plants.

The Company reused or sent for recycling 99.49% of the industrial waste generated in its operations. To sustain and further improve these results, Klabin developed an Integrated Waste Management Plan, which includes identifying alternative waste disposal routes and improving segregation processes at its plants.

In 2025, Klabin updated its Climate Transition Plan, taking into account the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The document outlines the Company’s strategy to align its operations and value chain with a pathway consistent with limiting global warming to 1.5°C, in line with the Paris Agreement.
