Midterm assessment
The year 2025 represented the midterm milestone for the targets established as part of the Klabin Sustainable Development Goals. After five years of work, significant progress can be seen in several indicators, demonstrating the Company’s commitment to these topics and to its strategic growth plan.
During this period, results related to water consumption and renewable energy use exceeded the long-term targets established for 2030. Both topics are currently classified by the Company as double materiality topics, meaning that efficient management in these areas generates benefits both for operations and for society as a whole.
Regarding the circular economy, the circularity case target was achieved ahead of schedule, reflecting Klabin’s consistent efforts to incorporate circularity into its operations and throughout its value chain. Integrated work with partners, suppliers and customers has made it possible to create applied solutions with measurable environmental, operational and economic gains, consolidating circularity as a practical driver of value generation and efficiency for the business.
In 2025, there was also significant progress in reducing industrial waste sent to landfills and in suppliers’ social and environmental performance.
